ADAMAWA EDUCATION: Stakeholders tasked to ensure no child is left out of school

Governor Mohammed Jibrilla says it is the right of every child to be educated.


Speaking at the inauguration of the Education Steering Committee of the Council of Schools in Nigeria, Governor Jibrilla warned parents and education managers to ensure no school age child is left out of school.

The Governor, who explains that education is the key to development, disclosed that his administration will not hesitate to spend any amount to revive the education status in the state as well as ensure the less privileged children in the society receive the desired government attention.


Mohammed Jibrilla added that if school age children roaming the streets because of poverty and other related factors will be taken back to schools and get functional and effective education, most of the social problems the society faces will be a thing of the past.

Deputy Governor Martins Babale, who reveals that Government will take the committee's work serious for it to succeed, disclosed that they are ready to support and work with the Education Steering Committee.

Recently, Council of Schools in Nigeria, under the leadership of Professor Mohammed Degereji was at the Government house to intimate Governor Jibrilla of its activities on education.

During the visit, they called for the inauguration of a Steering Committee on Education.
